§ 61-38. Purpose; appointment; processing of affirmative action documents.

A.
The purpose of this article is to create the administrative mechanisms needed for the execution of Fanwood's responsibility for processing affirmative action documents on behalf of the Borough.

B.
The Mayor, with the consent of the Council, shall appoint the Borough Clerk or such other employee of the Borough as may be designated by the Mayor to serve as the Borough’s Public Agent and who shall be responsible for processing affirmative action documents for the Borough. The person so named shall serve a term of one year or until his/her successor is appointed, whichever is later.
