§ 67-19. Improper disclosure of police information.

  • A. 
    No member of the police force shall communicate to any person any information which may enable a person to escape from arrest or punishment or which may enable him to dispose of or secrete any goods or valuable things stolen or embezzled.
    B. 
    No member shall communicate, except to such persons as directed by his/her superior in office, any information respecting orders which he/she may have received or any regulations that may be made for the government of the Department.
    C. 
    No member of the Police Department shall disclose any information from records available accept as permitted by law for legitimate law enforcement purposes.
