§ 204-9. Exceptions.

  • The provisions of this chapter shall not apply to:
    A. 
    The emission of sound for the purpose of alerting persons to the existence of an emergency;
    B. 
    The emission of sound in the performance of emergency work;
    C. 
    Bells, chimes or carillons while used in conjunction with religious services;
    D. 
    Noise from public celebrations or events;
    E. 
    Surface carriers engaged in commerce by railroad; and
    F. 
    All other exceptions listed in N.J.A.C. 7:29-1.4.
