§ 235-6. Recycling Coordinator designated; duties.

The Department of Public Works (DPW) Director shall serve as the Recycling Coordinator and shall hold authority over and be responsible for the supervision of the recycling program in the Borough. Said Coordinator is hereby authorized and directed to establish and promulgate regulations as to the manner of collection of recyclable materials, the dates and times of such collection, the nature of any bundling, handling, location and placement of materials for collection. The Coordinator shall be responsible for the supervision of the Fanwood Recycling Center. The Fanwood Recycling Center shall be open at least every Saturday morning to receive recyclables except in the event of inclement weather or other emergency, in which case no recycles may be deposited.
